God is the best business owner and planner. He constantly shows how savvy He is when it comes to plan business strategies.
Granted, His business is not anything like the world usual businesses, that we are accustomed to see, but it is business nevertheless, and therein lies a big question and its answer: When we go about the Kingdom of God, do we do that with a business mindset?
NOTHING IS RANDOM IN THE KINGDOM
In first place, contrary to what many freelance kingdom workers seem to think, there is nothing random in God’s Kingdom. And why should there be? Nobody would just act in a world business with the same randomness as many Christians seem to believe is the norm for moving about the Kingdom.
THE PRODUCT IS YOU
Oh wait, are you telling me that I have to sell myself? Yes, that is exactly what I am saying.
You’re the product that God sends you to sell. You are the product of God’s business. But then again, this is -shouldn’t be- a selfish promotion of your human mindset perceived values.
You are God’s creation, and you are His workmanship according to Ephesians 2:10. So, there is something about you that is different than the world: You are a new creation in Christ, and have to be ready to ‘sell’ this new you, because that shows the Kingdom of God in its reality and its action.
THE TOOLS ARE IN YOU
There is also something, not just about you, but in you, which you must be ready to ‘sell’ to a world in need. You are You In Jesus, and you also have all that God gave you. You have gifts, you have the gifts of the Holy Spirit, you have miracles, you have heaven around you, you have peace, healing, provision, righteousness, hope, a future, life changes! Yes, you have all that, and more, because the King is in you and you are in the King, so wherever you go there the Kingdom of God is.
It is not enough to know that the Holy Spirit can do anything, you must realize that the Holy Spirit in you enables you to be that which God intended you to be from the beginning.
You are the product that must be shown, your changed life, a life that moves in eternity, and uses the tools given by God.
SOW YOURSELF INTO THE KINGDOM
Now, before you can sell the product that is, and that which is in you, there is a process you must go through.
Much like a garden, you will not be able to sell the fruit of the Kingdom if you have not sown yourself into the Kingdom in first place.
But brother, you told me that I am a new creation and that I have all those good things that God put in me, so what do you mean?
Yes, God did all that. You are God’s awesome product, and God gave you awesome abilities; however, you must in first place sow yourself and all that you have into the Kingdom. Submitting to God is the necessary first step.
If you are not investing yourself into the Kingdom, you are not working for the Kingdom.
WHY? YOU MIGHT ASK
Because the Kingdom of God business model requires your total involvement in God’s strategies.
In conclusion, what you are to sell is you, your changed life, your newness of life, Christ in you the hope of Glory, eternity.
You can try all the miraculous, the gifts, the supernatural things of the Spirit, and you can try to build your ministry on those things, but you are never going to be truly effective in the Kingdom of God unless your changed life becomes the product you are sent out to sell.
